Welcome to Agricultural & Environmental Letters
Agricultural & Environmental Letters (A&EL) is jointly published by ASA, CSSA, and SSSA. It is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes broad-reaching, exceptionally interesting, transformative, and timely research on major scientific, policy, and economic issues that span the entire range of the agricultural and environmental sciences. Rapid global communication is becoming more important, and A&EL has been created to facilitate this communication.
The journal is financed solely by author fees of $975 per article (research letters and commentaries), and articles are published under the Creative Commons license CC-BY NC ND (any further publication of the article will require proper attribution; no derivative works may be made from this article; and the article may not be used for any commercial gain). Brief commentaries (fewer than 1000 words) and letters to the editor are published at a reduced rate based on article length. Special pricing options are available for manuscripts submitted as part of ACSESS-sponsored conferences and meetings.
