Synopsis

Synopsis

Ladino clover adjacent to corn reduced corn yields. There was also a trend toward reduced ear weights. Nitrogen leaf deficiency symptoms and response to fertilization of corn indicated competition for soil nitrogen. Clover grew an average < 6 inches toward cultivated corn rows after cultivation ceased.
