Corn, peanuts, oats, and soybeans responded somewhat differently but in general phosphorus sources could be arranged in the following descending order of response: superphosphate, dinitra phosphate (17-22-0), fused tri-calcium phosphate (<40 mesh), dinitra phosphate (17-33-0), fused tri-calcium phosphate (<10 mesh), concentrated superphosphate, calcium metaphosphate, potassium metaphosphate, and rock phosphate. Basic slag was also tested but rates of application were higher.
