Synopsis

In twelve years of evaluations of continuous bluegrass, periodic renovation, and two six-year rotations, maximum production of dry matter and T.D.N. was obtained from the rotation of corn, oats, and four years of alfalfa-bromegrass. The continuous bluegrass area was least productive. The renovated area out-yielded the clover-grass rotation area over the second six-year period.
