Synopsis

Synopsis

Four varieties of soft red winter wheat differed in rate of drying to the 14% moisture level in the field after rains or dews. Rates of moisture gains and losses in the laboratory increased during the delayed harvest period and were related to internal changes in kernel structure. Varieties differed in rate of change in absorption properties during the delayed harvest period.
