Synopsis

Synopsis

Parental clones of Pilgrim Ladino clover differed in response to overwintering condition and to photoperiod with respect to earliness and persistence of flowering. The clones differed markedly in vegetative vigor when grown at Davis. These differences were of sufficient magnitude to materially affect the constitution of seed lots harvested under diverse environmental conditions.
