Alfalfa and red clover fixed significantly greater quantities of CO2 under all light treatments than birdsfoot trefoil. Plants which had been grown under an illumination period with a constant light intensity took up a greater amount of CO2 than plants which had been grown under an illumination period of the same length and light quantity but at several different intensities. Please view the pdf by using the Full Text (PDF) link under 'View' to the left.
