Yields and Stands of Orchardgrass Compared Under Clipping and Grazing Intensities

  1. H. T. Bryant and
  2. R. E. Blaser1

Yields of orchardgrass with comparable defoliation intensities were found to be significantly higher under clipping than grazing. The yearly dipping yields may be adjusted to yields obtained for grazing by the value b = 0.7445 if there is a linear relationship and the slope of the line passes through the origin.
