Synopsis

Synopsis

The crude fiber content of Coastal bermudagrass was not affected by level of N, P, or K fertilization. Only N fertilization materially influenced the nitrogen content of this forage. When clipping date was not a variable, the crude fiber and nitrogen content of Coastal forage were not significantly correlated. Increasing N fertilization reduced the crude fiber content of common bermudagrass. The correlation between crude fiber and nitrogen of this forage was −0.49.
