Effects of Soil Reaction, Clipping Height, and Nitrogen Fertilization on the Productivity of Kentucky Bluegrass Sod Transplants in Pot Culture1
- E. F. Sullivan2
Kentucky bluegrass sod produced higher yields of top-growth at pH 6.2 than at pH 5.1. The ½-inch clipping height gave lower yields than the 2-inch clipping height, particularly at pH 5.1. Each increment of nitrogen fertilizer increased top-growth.Please view the pdf by using the Full Text (PDF) link under 'View' to the left.
