Synopsis

Restrictive second degree polynomial yield equations in N and P for oats grown in the greenhouse at each of 30 different initial fertility levels within one soil type were utilized in the application of a generalization procedure previously proposed in this series. A multiple regression model including N and P fertilizer and soil test levels plus all possible linear interactions gave good evidence that the yields from the different initial fertility levels belonged to the same general yield surface.
