Germination of Crested Wheatgrass in Salinized Soil1

Percent germination was decreased and germination time increased as salinity was increased. Strains differed in ability to germinate in salinized soil. Progenies selected under high salinity levels produced seed more tolerant to salinity than unselected seed.
