Growth and Yield of Cotton as Affected by the Time of a Single Irrigation1

  1. A. Marani and
  2. M. Horwitz2

A single irrigation, applied at the beginning of flowering, improved the lint yield of cotton by increasing boll size and number of bolls. The later irrigation, however, resulted in bigger bolls and longer and more mature lint.
