Synopsis

Yields of safflower grown in artificially salini/ed plots were reduced by 10% at 7 millimhos per centimeter (ECe) and by 20 to 25% at 11 millimhos per centimeter (ECe). Salt tolerance during germination is only half that at later stages of growth.
