Synopsis

Velvetgrass invasion of stands of perennial ryegrass, orchardgrass, tall fescue, and meadow foxtail was retarded by clipping to a height of 4 inches as compared to 2 inches, and by clipping twice during the season as compared to clipping 3 times.
