Variations in Protein Levels in Kansas Sorghum Grain1

Grain sorghum protein levels were found to vary from 6.6 to 12.8% in 1961 and from 5.9 to 12.1% in 1962. Significant differences were found due to location and hybrids. Fertilization resulted in both increased yields and increased protein level.
