Synopsis

Synopsis

Phytotoxic properties of water extracts of forage samples from Buffalo and Ranger alfalfa at 3 cuttings, 6 stages of growth, and for 2 years were determined by measuring the effects on germination and growth of corn seedlings. Stages of growth and cuttings differed significantly in their effects on root growth, whereas years and cuttings differed significantly in effects on shoot growth.
