Measurement of Water Stress in Cotton Plant Leaf Discs With a Thermocouple Psychrometer1

  1. J. E. Box2

Synopsis

Synopsis

Peltier psychrometer has been calibrated to measure water activities equivalent to diffusion pressure deficits (DPD's) of 20 to 65 bars suction at 25° C. Cotton leaf discs studied had DPS's from 40 to 65 bars and relative water contents from 94 to 52%, respectively.
