Effect of Phosphorus and other Deficiencies on Leaf Temperature in Tobaccco1

Decreased transpiration in tobacco leaves resulting from phosphorus deficiency results in a marked increase in leaf temperature. Other deficiencies result in increases which are not so pronounced as that of phosphorus. Wilting itself results in increases.
