Abstract

Abstract

The effect of TIBA (2,3,5-tri-iodobenzoic acid) on the yield of Bengal gram (Cicer arictinum L.), a protein-rich grain legume, was studied. TIBA was sprayed on plants at the time of first flower opening. There was a significant increase in grain yield in two cultivars in pot experiments.
