Abstract

Abstract

Lr32, a gene for resistance to leaf rust (Puccinia recondite Rob. ex. Desm.) previously transferred to hexaploid wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) from Triticum tauschii (Coss.) Schmal. and known to be associated with chromosome 3D, was located on the short arm of this chromosome, 26.8 ± 4.0 crossover units from the centromere. Male transmission of telocentric 3DS in competition with complete 3D was 23.2%.
