Abstract

Abstract

The entrance of soil constituents into the interelectrode material of Colman soil moisture units causes changes in calibrated moisture-resistance relations. The degree and abruptness of change is related to depth of placement in the soil. Regular field calibration checks must be performed in order to correct for these changes.
