Abstract

Preliminary investigations indicate that the addition of bentonite to soil followed by moistening will significantly reduce the susceptibility of the soil to wind erosion after drying. This effect persists after rupture of the aggregates originally formed through bentonite amendment provided the soil is remoistened.
