A permeameter was designed to eliminate boundary flow errors that occur during saturated soil hydraulic conductivity measurement. Advantages of the permeameter are its adaptability for use with either disturbed or undisturbed soil samples, the elimination of possible problems associated with acrylic swelling, and relatively low cost. The permeameter was effective in eliminating boundary flow errors.
