Abstract

Abstract

A technique has been developed for parallel insertion of access tubes into a soil. The technique requires hydraulic equipment of the Giddings type supplemented with machined attachments. The results show a minimum of nonparallelism in both the parallel and perpendicular directions to the plant row.
